The “local” course for “El Boelie” is obviously the Club de Golf Costa Brava, and with 27 holes it is a real challenge. The club house has a bar and cosy restaurant (lunch). There is obviously a reception, professional, pro shop, caddy master. Sets, carts and buggies can be hired. But between Rosas and Barcelona, there are many more golf courses. And what is really nice,at the Costa Brava you can leave your warm jersey at home.

Really a boon for your swing!

Review Club de Golf Costa Brava

Recently, I visited a number of golf courses in the Costa Brava region, including this wonderful course. A nice price for what you get. Spacious where you have more than enough space at the tee boxes with wide fairways for long drives. This course has a Old and New course filled in each other. New course (since 2009) is indistinguishable from the Old course. You can play a nice round  without meeting someone. This course is relatively flat in the first section. The last 7 holes go into the hills. The fairways look very neat and out of the rough is the course playable. Greens are also very short, very short cut I must say!! And thereby super fast. 🙂 A tip if you want to play in high summer in the Costa Brava region: Start on time by the rapidly emerging heat. Buggy saves loads of sweat, but less for the condition that you really need here. ???? so it is a top course to play!
