The Costa Brava boasts with all kinds of beaches, from vast sandy beaches to tiny rocky coves, from busy beaches next to all the many locations with their many facilities along the coast, to a quiet and remote beach.
There are hundreds of beaches along the Costa Brava that we could mention based on their particular position, excellent facilities or lovely environment.Lovely golden sandy beaches with a quiet shallow sea or bays for nudists, the offer is extremely large along this coast of north-east Spain! In the north of the Costa Brava, the beaches consist mostly of rocks and sand and is very suitable for diving in the clear sea water, where a large variety of sea plants and animals life can be admired. In the south, it is mainly the long golden sandy beaches hugging all the tourist beaches.
All along the entire coast, there are many small craft harbours for yachts and motor boats. Cruising or sailing along the lovely Costa Brava is pure pleasure, dropping anchor in tiny coves to go swimming, snorkelling and diving. Costa Brava is a genuine paradise for beach lovers.

La Fosca – Costa Brava (Palamos)
This lovely sandy beach is 500 meters long and 42 meters wide. There are enough facilities, like kiosks, parking places, lounger hire, parasol hire, showers, dustbins, telephone booths, cleaning services and toilets. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
Cala Rovira – Costa Brava (Platja d’Aro)
This sandy beach is 400 meters long and 30 meters wide. There are enough facilities, like kiosks, parking places, lounger hire, parasol hire, showers, dustbins, cleaning services, access for the handicapped and toilets.
Sa Conca – Costa Brava (Platja d’Aro)

Platja d’Aro – Costa Brava (Platja d’Aro)

Sights to see along the Costa Brava
Vacationing along the Costa Brava, the “Rugged Coast” in Spain! Nature, climate and history seams to surpass each other in Catalunya. Sun, old cities, fishing villages and excellent
restaurants are present all along the Costa Brava. And obviously the lovely beaches too. The sunny climate of the Costa Brava has an annual average of 15°C. This was also valued
by the Greeks and Romans when they established themselves here centuries ago. They have abandoned many sights worth seeing along the Costa Brava. You will find
medieval villages and even Grecian-Roman excavation near Sant Martí d´Empúries. A visit to the Dali-museum in Figueras must certainly not be left out during your vacation.
Santa Cristina d’Aro
The Santa Cristina d’Aro borders directly along the urbanization and you will find all facilities here like supermarkets, a range of bakers and butchers, various bank branches, a post office, garages, an assortment of restaurants and several specialist shops.
There are a riding school, a water park with slides, a go-cart track, various water sport
attractions and brilliant hiking and cycle paths In the vicinity.
Approximately 20 minutes drive from there, you will find the lovely Girona, known for its
medieval city core/Jewish district and city wall, the cathedral, university, the many different kinds of shops and the market.
To the south, in the Costa Dorada lies Barcelona, the city of Gaudí. A combination of architectonic styles, old and modern. Wide streets and boulevards like the Ramblas.
Narrow, cosy streets of the old Barrí Gótic district. Colourful flower stalls, idyllic plains and obviously the lovely Sagrada Familia. Climb one of the towers during your vacation; the panoramic view over the city is worth the effort. From “El Boelie” you are in Barcelona in no time at all!
The Costa Brava cuisine
The Catalan cuisine of the Costa Brava combines the spicy Spanish flavours with the
